Verina & Ken – Goldie Vineyard

Standing beneath the magnificent old Pohutukawa tree on the hill at Goldie Vineyard overlooking Putiki Bay, eager groom Ken Anderson waited for his lovely smiling bride Verina Potgieter to walk towards him, take his hand and make their vows together.  27th February 2015 was the day a new chapter in their lives began – those close to them shared this magical continuation of their love story and their spirit of family, friendship and loyalty.

Verina who was born in Zimbabwe, never dreamt her journey to New Zealand would lead her to meet and fall totally in love with a local “Waiheke Boy” – Moving to the island at 7 years old, Ken’s parents bought a block of land opposite beautiful Goldie Vineyard – and so for Ken and Verina this venue is a connection linking the past, present and their hopes for the future.

It is indeed one of life’s finest experiences when a chance relationship grows into a permanent bond of love.
